M_Boats: Rudder Rod

Looking for information on the rudder control rod. The shaft is bent on the boat I recently acquired. I was able to install the rudder but due to the bends in the rod I cannot raise the rudder. Is this part available or do I need to have one made? I have found an online source for C464 "Marine" brass but could use info on exact dimensions or better advice. As always.....Thanks.
