Tom Dropped the mast & had the Repair Guy Marty look he indicated that from what he could asses it was doable, Had to make arrangements for the boat to be towed to the Marine service yard and the boat removed from the trailer to see if the damage is more extensive. Great minds think along the same lines as that thought came to me this afternoon. 😈 I will be sure to have that done when we go over the repair. My only concern now is the $ involved will the repair be economical feasible. Hi George, While you have the boat in the shop it might be prudent to reinforce the hull on the other side opposite where the present damage is so perhaps you won't have the same damage in the future somewhere else. Check the aft end of the bunk boards on the hull too. That is where my first Monty split. Good luck, Tom B

Was finally able to visit the Merry Helen II and check for damage that caused the leak. Was able to see some damage at a lap streak joint just forward of the Port bunk board. Could not see further along the same joint as it is resting on the bunk board.
I contacted a local Fiberglass repair shop and have a scheduled meeting at 9 tomorrow morning to asses the damage the best we can. I am sure that their is additional damage as the amount of water taken on was considerable in a short period of time.
Need to drop the mast so boat can be towed to repair shop and removed from trailer. My S-I-L and grandson will be helping in the morning PTL for family ☺
