Not sure if I did this posting right, but here goes, these are pictures of sailing around the Apostle Islands on Lake Superior in July. We launched my M17 and Seaward Fox at Sand Bay in northern Wisconsin, sailed to Sand Island, barbequed on the beach and spent the night tied to the dock. After that we sailed to York Island where we had lunch, then to Raspberry Island for the evening. We were able to get the boats about three feet from shore, which makes it really easy for making supper on the beach. The next day we sailed back to Sand Island and stayed in the marina at Sand Bay for the night. Had great weather and got a chance to walk on the islands and see the lighthouses up close.
