M_Boats: John; Re. New M15,

John, I bought my M15 (hull #500) new from Jerry M. back in '90 or'91. When I ordered it I ask Jerry to build her using lead ballast in place of the steel ballast. I felt there would be fewer problems down the road with the keel and Jerry told me it would be a little bit stiffer with the lead ballast. I do most of my sailing on the Great Lakes and seldom sail her near shore. Congratulations on your new M15. Many wonderful memories await you and your family.
