So I found a broken batten... I've previously made a wooden batten that worked fine, a plexiglass/electrical tape wrap batten that also worked fine (on my snipe)...so now I'm trying a fiberglass fix for kicks on the Monty. I laid two layers of cloth and a heap of epoxy. I only plan on sanding any rough edges. I'll update! Any bets? Lol. I'm thinking it's 50/50. I def could have used more glass, but that would not have been sporting... The centerboard splashing fix is holding solid by the way. I dread changing the pennant one day though. Will require Drexel and a redo. But the clay like epoxy is super easy. Jazz
