1. Well, Tod pre-empted me. Dude keeps me on my toes (somebody needs to). There is a new Part Five in the creation story of the new M-23. It went up last night (they all go up the day I get them). I didn't announce it yet because Part Six should be coming any day now and I thought I'd flabbergast you by announcing them both at once. At any rate, see the latest developments at http://msog.org/models/m23new/modelm23_new.cfm , Part Five. Featured in this installment: rudder, boomkin, bowsprit, galley, trim, and other goodies. 2. PLEASE DON"T RESPOND TO THIS PART NOW! It's time to update the MSOG registry. In the next couple of weeks, I'll be sending all MSOG registrants an e-mail asking you to please let me know whether to renew or delete your entry (except for the 12 for whom I have no e-mail address, who I'll contact through the listserv, except for the five for whom I have no contact information). It's either this or a login and password system that no one wants. More info will come with the renewal e-mail. This is just a preliminary heads-up. 3. Good News: The author of the Lyle Hess article saw it and gave us permission to keep it online, so naturally, Bad News: much of the article web page was immediately lost during a bad ftp transfer three minutes later. First time that's happened. One way or another, it'll be back online soon. I'll let you know when Part Six of the new M-23 is ready. I promise.
