RE: M_Boats: New to the group

Welcome Jim, I lived in Va. Many years ago and visited Smith Mountain Lake once. I wasn't a sailor in those days (admitting that is hard but should be good therapy don't you think) but I remember that lake as being quite large with a beautiful setting. This list is full of sailors who believe that the Montgomery 17 is the best boat in it's class and couldn't imagine settling for anything less. The Potter list probably has some who feel the same about the P-19 (they're wrong of course but they won't listen to reason :)). Good luck in your search.
