Thanks Dave. That helps a lot. I ordered one of these an hour ago. But the photo shows me where it ought to go on the transom. Must be fun getting those backing plates in position on the M-15. Definitely a two person job.

So, thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out right now. And I can’t imagine using a ladder with two attachment points. Guaranteed failure in my opinion. Lots of pull on that ladder climbing out of the water and onto the boat.

I like the Garelick/EEz-In 18017:01 Compact Transom Ladder as it uses four attachment points and is unlikely to pull out of the transom (seen it happen!).
