It does have the West Marine name on it (and a K-1 logo) and is probably a discontinued model. I did by it on a close out price. It is very roomy and had storage space behind the backrest where I could store a dry bag, water jug, fishing tackle, shoes, etc. I have towed her and deflated her and stuffed it in the aft portion on the M17 cockpit, under the tiller. I use a foot pump to inflate, which actually takes little time. It does fit my long legs well. I have an M6.8 that used to belong to Dick Lane. I have used it as a "play" craft on local city lakes but have yet to try towing it behind my M17 (or M23). That will happen at some point. Theo and I had a M6.8 in the San Juans which we towed behind the chartered BCC and she worked great. I have pictures of my inflatable if anyone needs one to reference. Think spring!
