I'll be slipping my clean bottomed M-15 for some of next season on the improved but not pristine Saginaw River, near the mouth of the Saginaw Bay. That's Lake Huron to non-Great Lakes folks. My boat has no bottom paint, and I'm willing to expend some effort to keep it that way. If only to preserve my options for a while. . Something should be better than nothing. The supplier ads make it sound like they're made with hi-tech chemicals, but I'm forming the opinion they are pretty much just thick Canadian approved wax . Having studied up a bit, mostly at TrailerSailor, I find mixed reviews leading me to hold hopeful, but still somewhat minimal expectations of these two products: Aurora VS721 Bottom Coat, and Easy On Bottom Wax. Does anyone have fresh water experience with, or preference for, either of these products, or an alternative they'd like to share? I'm currently inclined to try the VS721, and have located a nearby dealer. It seems West may have Easy On. I'm following the awning/boom tent discussions, and plan to deploy something come spring. Finally, a thank you to Bill for his efforts! Ron Stanton, near Saginaw M-15 #249 **************Get the Moviefone Toolbar.
