I'd replace it at the end of the sailing season. I think chances are good that the rigging is fine--there are much older boats than yours sailing with original rigging. If it's been a fresh water boat, more the better. The rigging is pretty inexpensive considering. For peace of mind, replace it over the winter. Jerry will make you up some nice fresh wires. My 2 cents. I've always wanted to sail up in your neck of the woods. Maybe I can get a couple of the guys from around here to come visit some time (Randy? Larry?
