Get yourself some Semco 2 part teak cleaner. One part is green and the other is red. Use a scotch pad and follow the directions. Get some good heavy duty gloves because it is pretty harsh. All that weathered grey and black streaks will disappear and the teak will look like it was just out of the mill. Thanks for your advice! Prying the toe rail up to increase pressure on the screws worked in a couple of places, but I still ended up needing to pry out the teak endcaps in a few places. Well, now that the teak is off the fun begins! My wood is so weathered that it really has to be sanded down pretty well to make a nice finish.
