Ahh, thanks - a near miss. Monterey is out of range for this quick trip, another 1.5-2.5 hours south, I won't have time to get down there. Will have to watch for it ahead of time next year! cheers, John S. On 07/22/2015 05:43 PM, Dave Scobie wrote:
Looks like the Cruiser Challenge wwwsite hasn't been updated in a while. You may wish to contact Goose with the potter yachters to see if a M17 is registered but not on the wwwsite (two Sage 17s will be there).

Not in that area John. Hopefully someone will be able to accommodate you so you can look over a boat again.
Just wanted to mention that we feel the cockpit is one of the best out there, for days sailing, cruising, or ahem, napping.
The seats allow me to stretch out fully, and I am 6'3".
The seat back/coamings are very high and comfortable. Much better than many friends larger boats, from 20 to 40'. We are always glad to get back to Makin' Time after visiting on other boats.
Good luck with your search.

Hi all,
I'll be in the SF Bay area end of this coming week (Fri-Sun). I'm wondering if there are any M-17's I could take a look at in person while I'm in the area (on the hard or in the water, either way helpful).
Got a brief look at Keith's in Vancouver BC last January, want to check out the cabin/interior and cockpit space again.
thanks, John S.
