I do not know if you folks read the posting of the P-sailors, but I get the impression they have fashioned a course that suited the abilities of their boats and attempted to handicap the Montys. Is this a level playing field? And why is it so hard year after year to locate the bouys? Could you competitors comment? Unfortunatly Kentucky is a long way away. I gave a fleeting thought to making the trip as I do have a new tow vehicle and if I were going I would rather go in it now than say, waiting until I buy the next one 14 years from now. Maybe that passage from Steinbeck when Grandma died in the back of the truck on that last desert leg is stuck in my mind. And the Joads started from Oklahoma. Maybe some of us could meet and drive round the clock from Columbus or Louisville or St. Louis. Maybe even link up with others for a coast-to-coast excursion. Maybe we could chip in to award prizes to the highest finishing Montys so as to help defray their expenses. Is that legal? If not cash prizes, maybe gift certificates to WM or a restraunt or a pre-paid gas card? I like reading that Montys won. What can we do about it? steve Steve R. M-15 #119 Lexington, KY
