On the coat-tails of this inquiry about a vang to keep the boom "down", does anyone out there use anything akin to a topping lift when they need to keep the boom "up"? Has anyone considered using a "boomkicker" (flexible fiberglass wand designed to keep the boom horizontal at all times)?
