Bones, Thanks for the tips. I'm checking the internet and see a lot of choices for guides. Do you have a recommendation for any particular cruising guide. Nancy and I have been renting homes in the lower Keys for the past 20 years, we will be going down to Little Torch in early March for two weeks. As I free up more business commitments, we will be making the jump to semi-snowbird status and be renting for a month (+). At that point in time, my M17 will be headed south with us. One particularly easy, out of the way, and steep ramp in located on Cudjoe Key on the Atlantic side. It is at about mile marker 23. Pick up a Keys cruising guide and start studying. Keep in mind the water is very thin in many areas. (fun kayaking).
