Sailing season in the desert finally arrived last month; the power boaters quit tubing and wake boarding. And there is nothing hotter than a no shade 110 degree drifter in the summer time. Next winter come sail the southwest and Califorinia coast. Havasu pocket cruisers sail in February is fun did it last year and again this year. Well I finally got "Seas the Day" out on Lake Pleasant, AZ on Saturday and today.
Light variable winds with at least one gust both days in the 15 kt range.
A very pleasant couple of days.
The Lake Pleasant Sailing club is having an overnight on the lake this coming weekend so I think I will do that as well.
Who else sails Montgomery boats on Lake Pleasant?
This sure is a looonnnng way from the North Channel :-)
