I've stripped the crumby bottom paint of the M17 over the winter, and now I'm thining the topside needs to be freshen up as well (the deck is next winter's project, along with filling, re-drilling etc.). I plan to use VC High Performance Epoxy on the bottom, but don't know exactly what to use above the waterline. I've looked at the specs on Interlux Perfection, and it looks good (and reports have been good on the M list too). It looks like there's special paint for waterlines too. I hear that if you don't keep the boat in the water, you can use almost anything for that. Any opinions? Thanks. t Tom Smith & Jane VanWinkle M15/345--Chukar M17/064--Unamed
