I've got a M15 that I found in gov't salvage in Bismarck ND. Originally it was from TX (according the the registration on the hull) and came with little to no documentation. I had the title and put it somewhere very safe, as it was the only bit of real history the boat had. And it remains very safe in it's spot... whereever that may be. I've read that there is an ID plate on the upper left corner of the stern, but I couldn't find it on this boat. Is it on the inside? (man that would be a tight squeeze to get back in there!) I seem to remember that it was manufactured in '81 or possibly '82... Any advice on getting a bit more history on it? I see some of you posting with numbers next to your make... I can only imagine that it is the manufacture number. Also, I'd like to repaint or gelcoat the hull. Anyone have good ideas on how to do this? I saw this<http://creativeadviceinc.com/support/modifications.html> website in which they suspend a Mac26 to paint. I dunno if my garage will support my boat. My boat sat at the bottom of a harbor in TX for an indeterminable amount of time and the toerail is a bit rough as well. Any advice on restoring the teak? Thanks in advance for all the help, I realize I'm shoving a bunch of things into this one message that may have been addressed many times in the past. Thanks! -- Chris M15
