Hey Bones! Yes, the new main will be loose footed, which will be new to me. It has two full upper battens and two partial lower ones (2+2). I had them make it slightly heavier material and add a third reef as we like to take the boat out in the 20-30 range and sometimes it pipes up a bit more. For mast attachment it will have slugs. All the normal sail stuff too ( cunningham, telltales, draft stripe, leach line, etc.) I did not have them put excessive roach into it. Don't want any bother of battens interfering with the backstay and in my older years my patience with "bobbing" rather than "sailing" has diminished. I sail when there is wind. Messing around in 1-2 knots while sometimes fun to play with, has lost a lot of appeal to me so I figure I don't need or want an oversize roach. Harry was great to work with and I am excited about the pending arrival of the sail. I have had and know many others that have E/P sails and I highly recommend them. If you end up contacting Harry, please let him know I recommended him. I'd like him to know that he got some good exposure for all his efforts to attend the Havasu Pocket Cruisers Convention and I hope to persuade him to return next year. Thanks!
