The M15 sails just fine without the CB. It is not really much of a stability issue as it is pointing ability. Without the CB you will have an additional 5 - 10 degrees of leeway. So just don't get too far downwind if you have to sail back - it will take longer than you think. We were hoping to take "Vaya Con Dios" out for it's maiden voyage (in 25 plus years) next weekend. I just discovered that Bob (Montgomery Boats) does not take credit cards. I was forced to mail him a check and will have to wait longer than I had planned for my new Cb to arrive. So my question is, how would the M-15 sail without it? Can I still go if the winds are light?
