RE: M_Boats: Rudder

Hi Mark and Roberta, How do you like that nice big M23 compared to the M17? I just completed refinishing my nice mahagony 7ft rudder for my M23. I stripped the old bottom paint, sanded, applied 3 coats of System 3 epoxy, and will follow with Micron CSC. The top half is varnished. I was seeing evidence of previous repairs coming un-done and the possibility of water leaching into the wood. The rudder sits in the water for 6 to 7 months here in Minnesoooota.
