Matter of fact, I took the hook off the 15 and tried it on the 17. Great fit in my case. Can vouch for all years. This is the message I sent to Dwyer before I ordered: "I want to replace my existing Dwyer tack bracket with one with a reefing hook, but I don't know which one is which (you don't provide specs for these things). My existing bracket is about 1.5 inches tall and 5/8 wide, with a ¼ hole for the pull pin and a ¼ hole that attaches the bracket to the rest of the gooseneck. Which one should I order? Thanks. t" Compare my measurements to the bracket on your M17, Bill. t Tom Smith & Jane VanWinkle M15/345--Chukar M17/496--Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+tsmith=nextit.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+tsmith=nextit.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of William Sylvester Sent: Tuesday, August 23, 2005 4:09 PM To: For and about Montgomery Sailboats Subject: Re: M_Boats: Gooseneck hook Tom and Jane, Since you have both an M15 and M17, do you think the DH 683 small tack bracket will fit my M17? Should I get the larger DH680? Thanks, Bill Sylvester M-17 #279 Endeig On Aug 23, 2005, at 1:19 PM, Tom Smith wrote:
I just purchased this piece for our M15, by the way. Well made and it comes with a fastpin. Beware of shipping--it added almost 9 bucks to the price... t
