For the cast iron board boats all it is is a 5/16" double braid line. The centerboard end remove about 6-8" of the core tie a small bowline to the board.
For the M15-centerboard boats the line is also 5/16", still remove the core but instead tie a 8-knot after running the line to the centerboard.
