ThANKS Skiper Why ethanol free gasoline? The engine will run at this power level for 2 hours and 20 minutes and burn 1.1 liters of fuel. Going to WOT my speed approaches 5 kts but the fuel consumption and noise level increase significantly. I rarely run at WOT. I normally refuel when the engine tone changes as the fuel tank nears empty. If I am heading into a situation where running out of fuel could create a problem, I refuel before things become potentially difficult. Restarts are one pull if you do not run the tank dry. If you run the tank dry, restarts will take multiple pulls. On month long cruises, I will carry 88 hours of ethanol free gasoline. Ethanol free is frequently not available at the marinas and by carry this much fuel, I eliminate most of the worries of running out of fuel. I also have a Honda 2 and the performance is nearly the same. Ready for under power stretches .... Not easy to refuel in rough water at night not sure about the range/hours for 5 gal
Seems to work fine but as Capt Ron says "The real test is at sea"
