Great email Jay, some wonderful tips there for sure. I had never heard of a quickpin...great idea. I really need to develop a routine for launch and retrieval myself. My last boat was a dream in this regard. With the 17, I rigged it once and derigged it once last season. ~:0) I left it on the trailer fully rigged and launched and retrieved from a storage parking lot at the ramp. A super system. Next year, I think I will start the season with bringing the boat home a few times. Your setup routine will be a big help getting something sorted out. Fortunately my trailer is a gem, this boat goes on and off the trailer in surprisingly little water and with zero effort. I know what you mean by amazing the ramp folks. The only boats to go on or off the trailer faster than Puff was the Quicklaunch machine....there is a kind of 'valet' boat service at our ramp. Man those guys are slick. (don't do sailboats...and they have a three year waiting list). Have a great weekend all. Tim D. #369 M17 'Puff' Kelowna BC
