M_Boats: New M-17 Owners

Hello to everyone: We will be picking up our boat M-17 (Latitude) from Bob at Montgomery Boats in a few weeks. We are full of questions, but particularly want to know what teak finishes and fiberglass waxes Montgomery owners in southern Arizona have found work well with outside storage and a good cover. Speaking of covers, do folks have designs they like in addition to the one shown on the website? Finally, what experience have have any of you had with hand-held and/or transom-mounted depth sounders? Looking forward to hearing back from anyone who can offer input.
