Happy New Year All,

I just returned home from a week in L.A. and Phoenix that was a whirlwind of driving and family events and parties. I had a great time with all the outlaws and such, but the highlight of my trip was a visit to the Montgomeryboats shop. When we pulled up the new M-23 was out front looking very fine indeed. If you’re thinking of moving up in size and want the very best boat, this one is it (unless you want even bigger then the Nor’sea 27 would be the right choice). Bob Eeg gave us a look at everything that was happening in the shop and answered all our questions (even the dumb ones). You may be able to tell that my wife and I were very impressed with our first hand inspection of the new boat. We spent the next 13 hours driving discussing various options to purchase both a new vehicle for my wife (which she says needs to come first) and a new M-23. Winning the lottery would be a good way to do it but I believe we’ll need to do it the old fashioned way (save for a bit and borrow the rest). I guess the point of this whole posting is that the boat looks even better than the photos that we’ve seen. Get one if you can.
