Rick, I probably was looking at the M17 you bought and realized correctly I could never pull an M-17 with my little Toyota Camry. Gale Stockdale had two at one time. I did not know what I was looking at but I liked to lapstrake style without knowing why. Stockdale Marine closed up shop about 3 years ago. Gale and Ryan were the owners. I bought a mixed bag of resin and hardware parts at really cheap prices, I just can't resist stainless steel anything. Bought a bunch of slightly banged up mast sections. Had an idea of a project which I dropped when I found an M-15 on the internet down by Ridgecrest near Andrews AF Base in the Mojave dessert. Very hot, very dry down there. Bought the boat, came back to Sacramento the next day, never regretted it. I just wish the owner had taken better care of the trailer, the tires, and the CB. The trailer was shameful. Did some welding and a complete prime and repaint after a professional sandblasting. Thanks for the note.
