Rick, You and Jon were right. Stepping up the idle about ¾ turn did help a lot. It now idles without dying and without engaging the clutch. It stills coughs and burps a bit, but thats an adjustment I dont feel competent to make. Itll probably increase my fuel consumption a bit, but I can live with that. Thanks for the help. The tech who worked on it said he had adjusted the idle, and since then it has never shut down at low throttle, but idles beautifully.
