Doug, I am in Greenville, SC and sail on Lake Hartwell mostly. I am looking forward to the trailerability of the M 15 so I can sail other area lakes and some distant waters too. The CBC '04 is on my calendar for the 2nd week in June. I should know my boat fairly well by then. Thanks for the heads up on the date. Jesse,
I generally run my M15 under power with the Honda 4cycle, 2hp engine at 3.7 to 4.1 kts. In a reasonable chop,(1 - 1 1/2 ft)the internal tank lasts approximately 1 hr and 15 min.
When motoring long distances I time the run and refill the tank every hour.
I generally top the tank off before entering congested area where I will get distracted about the time so that I don't run out at a critical time.
If I am going to be out in remote areas for extended time I have a large gas tank which has a pump and a hose which works well to refill in route.
On a normal 2 day weekend cruise with decent winds I will often not even use 1/4 tank.
I look forward to meeting you on next years CBC. The cruise is always scheduled for the 2 nd week in June so you can mark your calender for the next few years :)
Where are you located?
Thanks

Lots of good ideas for refueling internal tank outboards. Just wondering - how many hours, miles, days of sailing do you Honda 4 stroke 2HP owners get?
