Thanks for the replies. Jim, we'll be sailing out of the north end, either Lighthouse Landing at Grand Rivers or Ken Lake SP. Trip is planned for September 9-13. Planned down draw is currently rated as "average" current, but from past stats it appears that most releases are in the evening/night hours so I'm hoping this means it won't affect us while beating up lake/river. I've been trying to find the speed of the current on Kentucky Lake. The Corps site only lists it by CF/Sec, or as "average", "high", or "low". For cruise planing it would be helpful to be able to convert these to knots. Mike, M-15 Fionnula
