Usually the places my boat is parked while I'm
rigging is flat, if the wind is very strong I'll try to park in a
position
to eliminate any side wind, orient the trailer
into the wind, (theoretically if you park so the wind is behind you and it's
strong enough.. I guess the wind could push the mast up,... pretty cool idea
I'll have to work on that),any way this usually eliminates any concerns about
side sway.
It goes up very quickly and the stays take over to
stabilise it.
