Well, Sean, I wish I could say that's the way we reefed Dauntless when Gary and I were sailing her in the Havasu Pocket Cruisers event. Ha! We looked like the Keystone Cops! (If you recognize that reference, you've been around a while!)
Note to self: Alway review reefing procedures ahead of time when sailing an unfamiliar boat. Note to self #2. Releasing the wrong halyard slows down the reefing process significantly and makes you feel very stupid. Note to self #3 Not recognizing your mistake quickly while you wonder why you can't get the sail down confirms that you really are stupid!
