I am currently on Patrol aboard a C-130 doing 'Iceberg Patrol', up in the REALLY North Atlantic! It sure would be nice to feel some weather above freezing for a few hours LOL! I've been up here since after Christmas, and expect to be 'home' in Mystic,CT by 01March02. Though I thought that WAS good news, I should've kept quiet about my desire for warm weather.........I was 'selected', as they say in the military, to participate in the 'Port Security Patrol' around the Guantanomo Bay Cuba Naval Station. Oh great!, from -40'f to who knows how hot this Summer....Geeze, wish the loonies would give us a break, at this rate I won't be able to even launch Nellie by the end of June. I actually got so bummed out at one point during this 'mission' that I considered putting my M17 up for sale :( So yeah, delete me from the list, at my regret :( Pass this message on the the rest of the folks on msog, I won't have time to.
