I've timed the Honda 2hp runout a couple of times, and it takes about 1.5 - 2 minutes to drain the carb. It doesn't seem to matter much whether its idling or running at cruising speed. It's always surprising to see just how long it will run on what's in the carburetor bowl If no air can get in the fuel tank to allow fuel to flow to the carburetor bowl, the same thing happens. The engine will run on the fuel available in the carburetor, but then die.............. Your Seagulls are starting and running on the fuel in the carburetor fuel bowl. When that is used up, they quit. Connie _______________________________________________ http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/montgomery_boats
