Mike, I have a Honda 2/20 in. on my 15/original bracket. I found that I couldn't tip the motor up far enough to lock on the stock bracket. I took a piece of 2x8 about 8 inches long and through bolted it to the bracket. The motor is now about 3+ inches higher and back about 1 5/8 in. When I tip it up now, it clears everything fine. The Honda 2 feels surprisingly spunky on my 15. I was impressed. Rik On Mon, Feb 28, 2011 at 12:48 PM, <beowulf2@cox.net> wrote:
Hello Monty owners. I have an M15 with the original engine bracket on the transom. Has anyone mounted a 2 hp 4 stroke Honda motor on the original bracket? If so, did it operate ok from there? Also, what length shaft, 15 or 20 inches, would you recommend?
