Randy, Great! One last question has popped up: did you replace the tiller mounting bolt with the new upper sleeve bolt and spacer, or did you remove the bolt a few inches down on the square tubing and mount the upper sleeve there? The picture on the website (from Bob's factory, I think) appears to be the former, but either could work--maybe. I can't wait to get this thing up and running. The rudder is a bit too cumbersome to remove and replace all the time (although it is nothing compared to the wooden monster). I am also anticipating that the raised roller will be high enough so I can raise the mast without starting it from my shoulder--cool. Thanks for your comments. Mine is mounted on the opposite side of the hydraulic ram. Fits perfect and works great.

Hello out there, I am finally installing my IdaSailor adjustable boom crutch on my IdaSailor rudder, and the spacers do not seem big enough to clear the tubing from the hydraulic kickup ram on the port side (where the picture Bob sent me shows the unit mounted). If anyone out there has one of these units, could you tell me if your crutch is mounted on the opposite side from the ram? Maybe the rudders have changed since I got mine.
Thanks, Tom Jenkins 2004 M17 Scintilla
