We also have a wood/steel motor mount on our cheap Sevylor PVC dinghy, and it motors well at 3.5 knots with the same Yamaha 2hp we use on the M15. We've even used it to motor several miles to campgrounds ashore. It is a lot of work to row. My honda 2hp should go right on it if needed, and I'm planning on the electric inflator routine as well. Should be here next week so I'll report back.
