Chuck, the rudder trim tab attached to the rudder and vertical vane have checked out to day it steers as close to 2 and 1/2 degrees on smooth waters I'll have it on the web page with the picture of the one-way valve on the cockpit drains in couple days. the three day venture anchored at Moss Cove with the U-1 and the solar panel on the couch roof proved to be a real bonus, for the entire 70 hours the radio never went off the VHF was on receive and the anchor light worked from dusk to dawn automatically all perfectly. Next time I plan to use the solid state refrigerator I built, how is yours doing with that extra foam filler. Have you notice with the your M-17 that moving weight astern caused the vessel to add lee helm? Dennis, MC and Wendy will be back from Johnston Islands next week, they did mention they might stay in Honolulu for an extra couple of days . I'll forward your messages to them tonight
