Cool, John! Looking forward to what's ahead for CLC . . . Assuming you still sell CLC kits through Fyne in the U.K., have you seen Swallow Boats' new Storm 17'? My suggestion for CLC: A Caledonia Yawl! An answer to both the Storm 17', and the Norseboat . . . :-) Fair winds, Craig, chonshell@ia4u.net ----- Original Message ----- From: JazzYachts@aol.com To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Monday, January 17, 2005 4:58 PM Subject: CLC's Forklift Just to let folks know, I've resumed my berth as CEO at Chesapeake Light Craft, purveyors of small boat kits and gear. I'll renew my standing offer of free forklifting of any Montgomery 15 or 17 that needs its centerboard removed. I had mine on and off the trailer in CLC's parking lot several times while restoring the CB and fairing the bottom, and I can't imagine what a struggle it is without a forklift. Also, we generate ultra-premium marine plywood scrap here the way barber shops generate extra hair, so if you ever need an odd bit for companionway slides or whatever, stop by. Cheers, John C. Harris
