Hi Dave & Nancy Glad to hear your problem was not recurring, thats encouraging. I think once the trash or whatever is in there is cleaned out mine too will work fine. I've seen from this web site a number of boats had this problem initially, but once cleared not a recurring problem. Intrepid went on her maiden voyage, nothing went twang but centerboard was not forthcoming. Tried tapping on the case, still nothing. I was told it had been in storage for several years, (could be dirt dobbers or rust.) Still sailed pretty good without the c'board. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
