Yep, that was the Sportyak. Not a thing of beauty, but functional. I don't think they have been made for many years, but I occasionally see them in various states of repair (disrepair) in local harbors. If you could find one that has been stored indoors (or at least covered), there may still be some life left in it. The modern equivalent seems to be the Walker Bay dinghy (available in 8' and 10' models, and with/without sailing rig). Scott M15 #478 'bebe' Pacific Seacraft Flicka
