I guess that depends on it's condition and price. I was hopeing for a main with couple of reef points and slugs at the luff instead of bolt rope. However, if the price is right, I may be a lot less particular. :) The main I have is ripped right along the bolt rope. I don't think it can be repaired, but don't really know that. Do you think your sail is still functional enough to get me through my first sailing season this spring? I have the ASA Basic Keel Boat 101 certificate. Other than that, I am a completely inexperienced sailer. A good sail would probably be wasted on me. So yes, I am interested. Tell me more. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Larry E Yake" <leyake@juno.com> To: <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2013 9:07 PM Subject: Re: M_Boats: Mainsail
I still have the original mainsail around for my 1976 M17 CornDog. Don't suppose you're looking for one as old as your boat, though. ;-)

I am looking for a used mainsail for my recently acquired 1976 - M17. I listed it in the classifieds, but have been advised that this would be a better place to put it. I am looking for a generic cruising sail, I think. I really don't know enough about sails yet to choose, or pay for, a new one. Does anybody have one they want to sell?
