Rich So I guess the cockpit drains through the CB well is that correct? My boat has been sitting outside on the trailer without a cover and it could be that my centerboard is stuck form dirt draining out of the cockpit. what do you think? -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+jimsadler=jascopacific.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+jimsadler=jascopacific.com@mailman.xmis sion.com]On Behalf Of Richard Cottrell Sent: Tuesday, August 16, 2005 3:04 PM To: Montgomery Boats Subject: M_Boats: M15 centerboard After mistakenly hosing down the cockpit with Redwood tree branch leafs inside, I am now faced with leafs stuck on either side of the centerboard. I've temporarily solved the problem by Launching "Really" only part way - approx 2 feet from the original position and then driving back up the launch ramp where I have room to walk to the centerboard and push it partially down. I then complete the launch and sail away with the centerboard all they way in the "down position". However, when the boat goes back onto the trailer it becomes stuck in the up position, again. The process continues. Any suggestions? Just returned from sailing on Crystal Bay at Lake Tahoe. Launched at Sandy Point on Nevada Side. What a beautiful paradise to sail. The water is sooo crystal blue. Had 10-15 knots of afternoon wind. What fun.
