Amen, Brother! Spring is almost here: Life's way too short; Let's all get out on the water to explore nature and enjoy our beautiful boats (whichever brand they may be)! Considering what's on TV, who needs politics right now? Not me. Gordon M-17 #377Sapphire Frosty St. Paul, MN (3 below zero this morning [things can always be worse, right?] and a beautiful, sunny "broad-reach" breeze this afternoon) P.S. Sean, we all appreciate the positive enthusiasm -- and lack of politics -- you've provided our sailing community! Keep up your good work! On Mar 2, 2011, at 6:55 PM, M23 Daunltess wrote:
OK...let me state this clearly and for the record.....I am a neutral party in this issue. Yes, I received the email, unsolicited. I’m not taking sides on anything having to do with this and in fact, I advised all parties involved, ALL PARTIES, when they were here in Havasu that with respect to the Pocket Cruiser Convention, which I run and have put a tremendous amount of time and effort into to attempt to bring people together, there are to be no sabers rattled and that I am not interested in “boat politics". I have my plate full, completely full, with what I am doing which is about bringing people and sailboats together, period. I really don’t care if you sail a Montgomery, Sage, MacGregor, Sabot, Norsea, Sparrow, Pelican, etc., etc., etc. Please don’t read anything else into the fact that this was sent to me. This is not a path I choose to go down, nor will I. This is the only email I will post with respect to this and I am deeply disappointed that I feel the need to do so.
