I posted some pics a while ago of the new trailer I got from Pacific. At the time I was concerned about the bunks not being tightened down enough, as one of them had shifted under load. The U bolt that had shifted just broke. It bound up while I was loosening it in order to re-position it and finally snapped as I continued to crank on it. There's a picture of it in the attached album. Admittedly I was using a lot of force to turn the nut, but isn't it odd for a bolt to snap like that? I would have expected the threads to go long before the bolt itself. Is this hardware trustworthy? I wouldn't think a guy with a hand wrench should even be able to snap a bolt like that. There's no sign of corrosion at the break so I don't think it was cracked. http://share.shutterfly.com/osi.jsp?i=EeAMWblu3atm7sw I'm having trouble finding a replacement. No one seems to have exactly the right one. I'll check with some trailer places on Monday. Norm
