What kind of prep work did you do before you applied the Kilz?? Hello, six months ago I repainted the cabin interior in my Alberg 30. You can go the one part urethane way, Interlux Brightside or you can use alkyd enamel. The enamel is at least half the cost of ueathane. The urathane is great stuff and is more commonly used in exterior application. Enamel is fine if it will be out of the sun. I used Pittsburgh commercial / industrial enamel. They have it at the stores. I used Kilz primer and then went over it with two coats of the enamel. It looks beautiful and the paint was $65.00 per gallon compared th $40.00 per quart for the urathane. Now that the sun is coming out (OK, maybe only once a week) in Oregon, I am thinking of painting the cuddy interior my older M-15 as it is a fairly bleak fiberglass/gray/mishmash. Has anyone had good, bad, or otherwise experience or suggestions with this such as what type of paint. problems?
