From someone who has more than a couple of Doug's cruising videos, they offer a nice reminder of some memorable events. Not only does he do a great job of shooting these, he does it while sailing.......not motoring......sailing his own boat. Pretty impressive to watch that happen just by itself. And YouTube is a good way to share these. Speaking of YouTube, I've found my old Hi8 video camera to be a problem. I've not found a good way to make the conversion to a workable video format, so I'm interested in a good quality digital cam corder for YouTube postings. Any camcorder buffs that can make a good recommendation? The rest of us would like to join the fun.....meaning trailing in Doug's wake. Howard On Feb 19, 2009, at 10:22 AM, Doug Kelch wrote:
This is a three day cruise as well. The first day was just two boats but the winds were 18 kts gusting to 25 the first day so ... no video - too much fun. The last day was no wind but I thought you would like seeing Dovekie out cruising.
The Dovekie skipper is holding up a handful of wild turkey feathers.
