Great job on the cushions and the insightful LaZBoy! I still have the original cushions on my 77 and your pictures have inspired me to make recovering them a higher priority. Also, although I have not spent much time on this new boat, I can see that I would be in want of a comfortable place to sit and read. The LaZboy concept may be just the thing. Again, not having spent much time on the boat, I have not had a chance to think this through; but has anyone considered using one of the "Go Anywhere Chairs" (the folding cushions that form into a back rest-marketed by West Marine and others). I envisioned using it in the port settee against the vee berth "bulkhead" and facing aft with your legs stretched out (aft) under the cockpit seat. Not sure it is doable or practical; just wondered if anyone had tried it? The extra inch of thickness should make for some GOOD sleeping, as between that and the fact that the foam is 18 yrs newer I no longer bottom out. Jerry must've used the GOOD Quality foam for them to last that long. And the covers were just BEGINNING to show wear (probably mostly because of 80# dog toenails!). Here are some pics of the new cushions: http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaCabinFwd.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaCabinPort.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaCabinStbd.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaQBerth.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaQBerthStowage.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaOverhead.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaPanel.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaGalley.jpg http://www.todspages.net/images/LF-BuscaLaZboy.jpg The only downside is that BuscaBrisas and Seas The Day no longer have MATCHING cushions.
